Microsoft held an annual Surface Event on 2nd October 2018 where the company unveiled the Surface line 2-in-1 tablet PC, Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface 2 Laptops. The Surface Laptop 2 is an upgrade of Surface Laptop launched about last year.

The Surface Laptop 2 comes with improved features and enhanced capabilities compared to its predecessor, particularly processor and performance-wise. In the recent update, not many modifications were made on the Surface Laptop 2. It sports the same dimension, physical properties, components placement, and is just as light and slim as the first Surface Laptop.
