YouTube has released it’s own dark theme just like Twitter’s dark mode. Best of all is that this is global. It seems there is something about Dark theme, it’s like it just adds more fun to the look of a page. And this is not so far away from when they first released the PiP mode for Desktop users
This Dark mode was initially released for desktop users and afterwards, it was also released iOS users and now, Android users have been remembered after several months.
Apart from being attractive to the eyes, this theme could help in saving your battery and this especially if your phone uses OLED/AMOLED display. If this mode to be of benefit like this, then we are hoping that other major platforms will adopt the use of dark theme.
